xslide1 TOTAL AKPO FPSO PROJECT PHOTOS. xslide2 TOTAL AKPO FPSO PROJECT PHOTOS. xslide42 TOTAL AKPO FPSO PROJECT PHOTOS.

These are some of the numerous photos about TOTAL AKPO FPSO Project in Ulsan,South Korea.I started the FPSO AKPO category by telling you about Our Project is over, next i wrote about what the project was all about in the post AKPO PROJECT.I told you about the naming ceremony and the dinner party in the post AKPO FPSO Project Dinner Party.I also posted about the TOTAL AKPO FPSO Project farewell party, which rain almost ruined.I then ended it with the video of the sail away and the post TOTAL AKPO FPSO PROJECT SAIL AWAY.The next time you read about this huge project; which is the best and largest in terms of technological innovations of it kinds in the whole world at present will be about the installation and I will be in Nigeria then.I am so suprised that i have not heard anything about this project on CNN yet,if it were something negative the news would have been all over the world by now.Remember you heard and saw it all first here.

        trust them…some nigerian journalists!
they’ll be waiting for some dole before
        they report such newsworthy event…

my journalist friend said he’s busy on
some project when he’s got his head clear
i shall intimate him about this first of its
        kind technology in oil exploration!

Beibee do you mean that a journalist will collect
money apart from his salary to report a news?
Then certain group of people will
control what will be made available as news
to the masses.Where does freedom of speech
          come in?

            to be more specific:

there some news event certain journalists
consider to be public relations to the entity
or organization being the source of such event…
these journalists will expect that they’re doing
the person, entity, organization a favour which
            must be remunerated!

it’s become a norm; haven’t you heard of
            “brown envelope”? what about “roger”?

these are few terms used to describe money
got from the beats journalists cover…

if you call for a media briefing and you send
the journalists away without something tangible
you can expect your news event to end in the recycle bin!

            these certain journalists are paper-tigers…
and be sure that there are one thousand and one
media briefings, press conferences, press releases, etc
jostling for the limited pages of newspapers…
apart from the newsworthiness of the event…the money
that likely exhanges hands counts so much!

            there’s so much intrigues in the media world;
            it’s not peculiar to nigeria…well, it’s always
            loud and obvious here…you know!

              Dear Tyna,

It is wonderful to see such a wonderful innovation, the world largest FPSO in the world. I came across your website blog while looking for a friend from the Total Akpo Project I met in Singapore. His name is Eric Gilles. I have been trying to contact him but of no avail. If there is anybody who knows him or how to get in contact with him , please let me know.I have been worried about him as he promised to contact me but I haven’t heard from him since he flew back to Paris on the 19th of July 08. I just want to know that all is well with him and nothing unfortunate has happened. Thanks a million to all who can be of any help!
