I have survived so many situations in my life that could have easily pulled many people down but i always find courage to move on. I tried to find the positive side to every situation that I have found myself. I am just wondering what depression means,i don’t think i am one of those who suffers from depression. Today was very stressful for me,thinking positively didn’t help me then i cried to relieve the tension but it was a just a few seconds. This is my 2nd month in a hotel with 4 kids 3 of which are under 5 years does any one understand my real situation? My best friend doesn’t understand because he leaves for work in the mornings and come back late at night ( work officially closed at 4.30pm and others arrive our hotel before 6.00pm) when i must have fed the kids alone after spending a hellish day with them in a hotel room without enough space for them to run around.My husband wakes me up every morning while getting ready for work,oh no! can’t he just keep it quiet with his teeth brushing,shaving,door banging and worst of all this morning with his loud phone conservation with his grandmother,why didn’t he just finish the discussion in the bathroom where he answered the call? As if that was not enough he started looking for Chinedu’s photo passport and I him to check our boxes;he came back in from the other room to inform me that one of our boxes is missing ok that scared me for a moment well after thinking for awhile we realised we repacked one box into another box. Here comes the real horror,when i was about to go back to sleep my twins woke up,after feeding them my husband asked me to give him some Euros to change I honestly thought he was asking for my money the reason why i asked him what needed money for and how much he needs.To my greatest shock he told me to give his money that he gave me to keep for him sometime ago, what money? i asked him. He told me that he gave me 5.000 Euros one morning before leaving for work while i was sleeping.Since i didn’t remember it almost turn to a big argument, well i stood up to search all my handbags lo and behold the money was there.Now just imagine the lack of trust that would have befallen my home if one of the hotel housekeepers have collected it. I am so bored to my bones in this place,no friends in this city,no car infact no where to go and if i have somewhere to go who will look after my kids.Normally when in this kind of situation i cook,wash,bake,golf,watch movies or go to the gym none of which i can do here right now. Remember i said that we have got a house in the post first 2 weeks in Nigeria but we can’t move in this month because my husband is going on a course to Manchester so we will have to stay here and wait for him to come back,besides our cargo from South Korea have not arrived yet. 1. Does it have high commission rate?

It’s always easy to blame external circumstances when you get stopped ‘your manager, lack of time, traffic, a change in the market… But if anything really stops you short in life, it’s more likely to be a self-limiting belief: a thought about yourself, reinforced by emotion. An event occurred. You drew a conclusion about it and absorbed it emotionally. This is because people are ‘meaning-making’ machines; we try to give meaning to everything, even things we really know nothing about!

We all have our own rich and personal history of events - from parents, educators, our culture, gender and work experience - and, as a result, we’ve developed our own unique perspectives on the world and ourselves. Each of us creates a unique map of what the world is like and how we fit in to it. Before long, we’re on autopilot, with these now-subconscious beliefs guiding our actions in life. Many of these beliefs help to sustain us in life, but others don’t - they limit us and our ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life.

What About At Work?

When it comes to working life, it is our self-limiting beliefs which affect whether we are successful and the organisation we work in is a satisfying place to be. Here are some common self-limiting beliefs:

1. I am not skilled enough.

2. You can’t trust anybody.

3. Hard work is noble.

4. Fulfilling work is for others, not me.

5. Fulfilment comes from my personal life, not my work life.
