My Legislator Friend!

An Honourable Member
Yesterday was about my male best friend.Today’s candidate in my family and friend series is a lady of substance depending on how you look at it. She appears friendly and nice on first contact, first impressions really matters. This lady I have known for almost a life time, she is bold and beautiful. She is married with 6 children, 4 girls and 2 boys.
Nickname: “Lolo” that means a wife of a titled chief, okay anyone with money can actually buy a title to improve their social status. In fairness to her apart from being a Lolo through bought title she was a real princess by birth her dad was a well known and respected king. Dad is late now but mom is still alive.

Profession
This part is kind of tough; she is in the medical field, a lawyer, business owner, contractor and a politician. She is a trained medical officer who is very good at her job but because of greed, want to be a jack of all trade, thereby becoming a master of none. I don’t really have problem with someone doing many things at a time I am only concerned in how good they are at them. She was a medical officer before she got married at a tender age of 18; she was an intelligent smart student, who loves caring for sick patients. Was it marriage that changed her? She studied law after having 6 children; she was in school with 3 of her children although only 1 was in the same university and department with her. She wanted to become a lawyer in order to pursue her political career, I wonder where it is said that you have to become a lawyer before joining politics. Prior to this she had ventured into many businesses which failed, as far as I am concerned business is not for everybody. Business ventures such as: a wholesaler of some well known brand of soft drinks, supermarket, hotel and restaurant, drug store, estate management. All which collapsed after awhile due to poor management, I almost forgot she has 2 gas stations properly still functioning. She held the contract of supplying the state government house with their entire diesel. They later awarded her husband the contract of renovating the government house. She is one of the reasons I hate politics okay honestly I hated politics way back partly because of my father.

Political ambition:
She has been elected as one of the legislators’, I won’t say more than that but I can say that the election was rigged without which she wouldn’t stand a chance of winning. She wanted to win by all means it was her life; not that she had the interest of the masses at heart but just because of her own selfish aims. I don’t discuss politics or anything related to it in forums, but how can I when some of the bad eggs are people close to me. What difference will my opinion make since it won’t change them? So I see it as total waste of my time and energy. In my high and honest opinion; she doesn’t have anything worthwhile to contribute in the political arena.

Family life
As a wife and a mother she has failed woefully in that department, in her bid to acquire wealth she has neglected this important aspect of her being. She provided her kids with almost everything expect that one important thing every growing kid needs; a loving and warm environment. There are a lot of fighting and quarrelling in front of the children. Her family made marriage unattractive in my growing up years. Most of all I think she married the wrong man, they are happy only when they are apart. The husband chases after anything in skirt. It is a marriage made in hell.

“Success is not a key to happiness; happiness is a key to success”

What do we have in common?
We are women, we are married, we have children and we know each other.
Internet I live online, I doubt if she knows where that is. One of the reasons that I can write anything here; I can bet my last dime that there is no chance in this world she will be reading this post anytime in this century. I didn’t want to write a long post like this I promise to keep it short next time with the family and friends series. Please what do you think I was too harsh?

My Male Best friend.

I didn’t intend to start my family and friend series with him, then why am I doing it? Yesterday was his birthday, he has reached that stage when men have mid life crisis, hopeful it won’t be that bad.
Nickname: “Mister 1 hour” I gave him that funny name because he spends an average of 1 hour in the bathroom every morning. I said average because it could be more or less.
Where we differ
1. His blood pressure rises when under stress or over stressed
Mine remains constant no matter the situation.
2. He is still sceptical about online shopping
It makes my life a lot easier.
3. Agitated under pressure
I am at my best under pressure calm and collected
4 He can go to bed by 9pm and sleeps through the night
If am in bed my 2am that will be early
5 He is a morning person
I am a night person
6 He is a perfectionist well good for him
At least I still do my stuff well
7 He is a man and I am a woman
I tried very hard to get it to 10 things

His Work:
He is happy in his area of specialisation as per his job. He has been on the same job for 14 years he started in the telecommunication section, then data communication before moving to the production control. He doesn’t play with his work although he goes to work late almost on regular basis He is a perfectionist which could be very annoying to me sometimes. He has a typical male brain which does not allow him to multitask; for instance he can’t put on his shoes or brush his hair while listening to news. This is where we are complete opposite; I can be watching my favourite soap opera, talking on the phone and be cooking at the same time.
Fashion sense:
He is a power dresser but wait it has not always been like that, one of the reasons why I didn’t connect with him when I first met him was his bad dress sense. Well I saw potentials; he has a body well carved to adorn clothes. He spends more money than some women in buying body care products.

What we have in common:
4 sons, happiness, laughter, love, marriage, we both love King’s woman, perfumes, trustworthy, kind, and dependable. We respects each others privacy, that way he won’t be checking everything i do with my money.Next will be one of my sisters or a friend ,you won’t want to miss that one.
My sweetheart. His best attribute is that he supports every of my dreams, both spiritually and of course financially.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are my hero.

Family and Friends!

My blog posts are becoming too boring, so I thought that I should do some fun things to liven it up for you my friends. I don’t know if my friends and family are going to like what am about to do, that is if they get to read my blog.

“There comes a point in your life when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will.”

This idea came to me because of a discussion I had with husband 2 days ago. I went to make gold pendant in my friends names translated in Korean alphabets as a special gift from Korea. After ordering them I realised that I didn’t know one of my friends full name, getting home I told my best friend why I couldn’t make one for that particular friend of mine. He couldn’t understand how I will not know her full name somebody who has been friend for so long. Well that is the difference between me and so many other people that I have met. In honour to those my friends I am going to try to write what I can remember about them that made them so unique to be able to tolerate me. Should I start with friends or family? Should I mention names? Add their photos? You all know that I am blunt but I will try to be nice. I have met different types of people that became friends with me although we are not on the same page. I am going to tell you how and when I met each of them, I am so excited about this I do have some funny nicknames for most of them. I have to go to bed now so stay tuned to get the whole scoop. You might like to subscribe to my RSS on the right side of this page just under my photo,be the first to read about it in your email.

Making Money Online as a career

cindy4

This post is a response to an article written by Balkhis. It is about a cause on his attempt to cut down unemployment rate around the world and show the people a new Vision for success. He is encouraging parents to stop forcing their children towards certain career paths which they might not eventually take after wasting some years in college and their parents’ hard earned income. He encouraged the youths to look at making money online as a career choice.

“Take a look at a corner book store. Do you have it in your country aside from U.S. Come on my Indian and Asian audience. Well I am only referring to these countries because the $ converting to these currency is alot. So now if all of these owners instead of going out of business can sell their books both online on eBay, and in store. They will make good profit. I say eBay because they can get good shipping because Amazon has standard shipping cost, and shipping internationally cost more.”

I want to point out that it is not easy for someone to just dive into online business without having a proper mentor ship. You can only tell someone about what you are sure of or that has worked for you. Making money online is not as easy as people make it sound. I have the money to buy ebooks and people guiding me at every step yet I find it a bit daunting then imagine someone without money or mentors, how frustrating will that person’s life be?

Are people really making good money online? Yes! But how many of these online gurus are ready to share their strategy for free to a poor young online guru wannabe? I support your good cause, having experienced first hand your willingness to share your knowledge at no cost. I know that if every successful online guru should speak to people in the areas or locality to create awareness about making money online as a career choice,it will go a long way in curbing unemployment.

Starting an Internet Business: A Reality Check

Company of the Week: Amazon.com

The siren call of starting a business on the Internet is hard to resist. Work when you want, do it from home, make lots of money (even when you’re asleep) - what’s not to like, right? You’d be a fool not to jump in and start building that website or writing a blog!

Not so fast. There are more Internet millionaire “wanna-bes” than you might think. And many have spent more than a few years and more than a few thousand dollars in a vain effort to start a profitable Internet business.

It may seem that “everybody” is making money online, but that’s simply not the case. And not many people will admit their frustration, partly because no one hates admitting failure but also because perception is everything online. If you are perceived as a failure, no one will buy from you, which makes you fail even faster.

So what are the disadvantages and roadblocks that potential Internet entrepreneurs encounter?

The first is the learning curve - it’s steeper than you might think, and there’s no single “how-to” process to follow.

Succeeding at an online business requires mastery of several key abilities, not all of which directly correlate to doing business offline. For example, you not only have to build a user-friendly and relevant website or blog, you have to drive traffic to it, all without making any mistakes that cause you to lose credibility in your prospect’s mind and cause them to click away from your site.

Not easy!

And though there are countless experts, books, and how-to courses on how to start a business online, it’s hard for a beginner to know who to believe, and there are multiple online business models to choose from as well.

The second issue, which was mentioned above but which warrants more attention, is the problem of driving traffic to your website. Novice Internet marketers know they want their site to be found in the search engines, but often vastly underestimate the amount of competition they have for the keywords and search phrases they desire.

The Internet reality is that top-ten rankings for most popular keywords is extraordinarily difficult to achieve - which means that the novice “Interpreneur” will need to master the art of advertising online, which can become quite costly.

The third and final obstacle mentioned here is that it’s very easy to become distracted when building an Internet business.

If you subscribe to Internet ezines or visit Internet discussion forums, which are recommended methods to build knowledge and connect with potential customers or partners, you’re bombarded almost daily with new ways to make money. New advertising strategies to try. New top-secret, never-before-revealed-to-the-public ways to get more targeted website visitors than you’ve ever imagined. And so on.

And while some of these strategies may be an excellent fit for a particular online business, many will not. Since inexperienced Internet marketers find it difficult to make that distinction, they waste time and money delving into new income models before mastering the income method they’re using now.

Hopefully, if you’re considering starting an Internet business, this article will serve as a “reality check” for you. It’s certainly possible to make a substantial secondary or primary income online - but it’s much more likely if you have a good grasp of the obstacles you’ll probably encounter along the way.
