Traffic Jam in Nigeria

Living in a hotel in Victoria Island in Lagos ,Nigeria and having to take the kids to school in VGC (victoria garden city) the distance is not much but due to the heavy traffic on the road, which had made this daily journey very unbearable.I can’t wait to move to our new home then and only then will i feel a bit settled in this country.I have to wake up by 5.30am to start getting ready for school runs, school starts by 7.45am and coming back to the hotel takes forever because heavy traffic jam at the Lekki area. There are so many potholes that i think wouldn’t cost much to fill. The bus drivers and the bikers are something else, the noise pollution is so out of hand It is 1.18 am now guess i have to go to bed now,i don’t do the driving but sitting for hours in a traffic jam wasting precious and valuable time is not my idea of fun.I am grateful for so many other things that traffic jam can’t upset me right now.
