Home Based Business Scams - AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I hope this article helps those seeking a LEGITMATE HOME BASED BUSINESS.This is a true life experience of Joseph DeFrank

I can tell you from a personal experience that there are many Home Based Business Scams on the Internet. My wife and I almost lost $8,000.00 trying to start one of these so called home base businesses. We were looking for a LEGITMATE home based business to make some extra income to add to our full time salaries. We looked at several home based business opportunities on the internet. One such business caught my wife’s eye, so we filled out the infomation that they requested and clicked the submit button.

In less than 10 seconds our phone rang and the gentleman on the other end introduced himself and explained to us that he represented the home based business company that we were interested in. He was a very pleasant and friendly person. He told us a little about the business but would not reveal the name of the company. Next, he directed us to a 9 minute audio which explained in more detail about the home based business and how you could make all this money doing affiliate marketing in a short period of time and just working only a few hours a week. They even had an elderly woman on the audio who was making sale after sale even before her website was set up. This audio was very convincing.

About an hour later, the same gentlemen called us back. He asked us what we thought of the audio presentation, and reiterated the parts about making a great deal of money in a short period ot time without hardly doing any work. He then asked us if we were interested. Naturally, we thought this was a great opportunity, so my wife and I signed up for the businsess.

The following day, another gentleman from the company we just signed up with called. He also was very friendly. He explained more about the company and again told us how with very little time and effort we could be making BIG money. We were told that we would have a website all set up for us, the only thing we would pay for would be advertising. He then told us about the advertising packages. The more money that we would spend, the more Guaranteed Hits to our website which would mean more profits for us. There was also a site were we could track our hits and sales each day. Basically we could just sit back and watch the money roll in. My wife and I were new at this and it sounded so great we went with the higher package which cost $5,000.00, (STUPID MOVE), and it was so very easy to put it on your Credit Card. He also stated that he would be our advisor, if we had any problems and to contact him if we were not making any money after several weeks. (more…)

How To Avoid Easy Money Making Scams.

ship

It is unfortunate that there are a lot of dishonest people and scam programs on the Internet that make it difficult for the marketers who are trying to show people the real ways of making money from home.

What I ‘m going to do in this article is to show you the types of easy money making scams and offer the tips how you can avoid them.

Here are the main characteristics of scams:

1- Guaranteed income Avoid the program which guarantees you will make money. Nobody can guarantee this. Even the program is great, it will depend on your work how much money (or money at all) you will make joining that program.

You should also avoid the programs which promise you fortune in a short time.

2- No one answers your questions Don’t join any program which doesn’t answer any of your questions before joining. If they don’t answer you before joining, probably they are not going to answer after you are in the program.

3- There are no earnings disclaimer, terms of service or privacy policy. You know, nearly all money making programs have these terms below the website. But most of money making scams don’t put them on their website. Don’t join the programs not having these legal requirements.

4- Work at home jobs. Most of the work at home programs requires an initial fee to join them. When you join them you will have to apply the companies personally without any guarantee that you will find the work you want or not.

5- Get paid to surf and Internet surveys programs. These companies try to convince you that you will make money just for being on the Internet, surfing the web, filling out surveys, answering emails. It is lie. They don’t tell you the hard part of the work (for example, an advertising part) before joining the program.

It becomes so frustrating to get enough credits for getting paid that most people quit in their fist week. That is why most of these programs require a fee before joining. Even it is free to join you will have to pay money to the companies inside your membership.

6- Products that “sell themselves”. The key to selling a product is successful marketing. If you don’t do any marketing for the product, there won’t be any sales. So avoid these types of programs.

7- Data entry, envelope stuffing, coupon clipping. These programs most times don’t work and include much more than data entry, envelope stuffing or coupon clipping.

Remember, it is not always easy to avoid the scams, but from time to time you will be able to spot them. I wish you success on your way of making money online.

Home business opportunity scams

Don’t Be One of The Millions To Fall For Home Business Opportunity Scams.

Reading Terminal Market Philadelphia 10

If you are looking for a home based business or any other way to make money working at home, then you’ve likely been overwhelmed with the abundance of information. You can’t search for “work at home” on the internet without being bombarded by millions of poorly worded ads - all of which claim to be the BEST work at home opportunity.

So how can you find which one is truly best for you without having to try them all? Well, there are a lot of factors, but here are some highlights for you to consider before jumping into a new business venture.

Working at home can be a great lifestyle, but it’s not for everyone. Find out if it’s right for you by answering the following questions:

- Are you a disciplined person (i.e. can you successfully work without supervision?)

- How much time are you willing to invest in a job/business? - Do you want to work 100% from home or would you like to work outside the home a set number of hours per week?

- How much money are you comfortable with spending to start a business?

- How much money do you expect to make from your business?

- Do you enjoy working with others or do you prefer to work alone?

Once you have the answers to these questions, you are ready to confront the mounds of advertisements for work at home opportunities. The next step is to see how well your needs and wants fit into the businesses available to you.

Before agreeing to any type of business, it’s helpful to find someone who is already doing the business and ask them the following questions:

- How many  hours do you work each week?

- What does your average daily business routine consist of? (This will help you determine if you’d enjoy doing what they’re doing.)

- What costs are involved in starting and operating the business?

- What is the product or service you sell?

- How much money can I REALISTICALLY expect to make working the number of hours you’ll put in?

Now that you have your answers, you can research home business opportunities and write down the top 3 business opportunities that you think appeal to you the most. Then take your time to think it over thoroughly.

Starting a new business should never be a spontaneous decision - especially if there is a large financial investment. Take some time - at least a couple weeks! - and sincerely think about and compare each opportunity until you feel confident with the one you’ve chosen.

Finally, I do have a couple of words of warning for you when searching for that “golden” opportunity.

If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. Whether it’s a business online or a traditional offline business, all businesses require a lot of work. Anything that claims to be easy, or that reportedly doesn’t require work should be quickly skipped over.

You should NEVER…I repeat NEVER have to pay someone just to receive information about a job or business opportunity.

If an advertisement seems extremely vague, it’s most definitely intentional. A good number of “too good to be true” offers don’t give you all the details up front because they know if they do, no one would be interested.

Most importantly, be well informed. Do not give ANYONE your hard-earned money until you have the answers to your questions and are fully confident that you’re making a wise financial decision. Running your own home business can be very rewarding if you’re willing to put in the necessary research to find what kind of home business fits your and your needs bests.
