My Legislator Friend!

An Honourable Member
Yesterday was about my male best friend.Today’s candidate in my family and friend series is a lady of substance depending on how you look at it. She appears friendly and nice on first contact, first impressions really matters. This lady I have known for almost a life time, she is bold and beautiful. She is married with 6 children, 4 girls and 2 boys.
Nickname: “Lolo” that means a wife of a titled chief, okay anyone with money can actually buy a title to improve their social status. In fairness to her apart from being a Lolo through bought title she was a real princess by birth her dad was a well known and respected king. Dad is late now but mom is still alive.

Profession
This part is kind of tough; she is in the medical field, a lawyer, business owner, contractor and a politician. She is a trained medical officer who is very good at her job but because of greed, want to be a jack of all trade, thereby becoming a master of none. I don’t really have problem with someone doing many things at a time I am only concerned in how good they are at them. She was a medical officer before she got married at a tender age of 18; she was an intelligent smart student, who loves caring for sick patients. Was it marriage that changed her? She studied law after having 6 children; she was in school with 3 of her children although only 1 was in the same university and department with her. She wanted to become a lawyer in order to pursue her political career, I wonder where it is said that you have to become a lawyer before joining politics. Prior to this she had ventured into many businesses which failed, as far as I am concerned business is not for everybody. Business ventures such as: a wholesaler of some well known brand of soft drinks, supermarket, hotel and restaurant, drug store, estate management. All which collapsed after awhile due to poor management, I almost forgot she has 2 gas stations properly still functioning. She held the contract of supplying the state government house with their entire diesel. They later awarded her husband the contract of renovating the government house. She is one of the reasons I hate politics okay honestly I hated politics way back partly because of my father.

Political ambition:
She has been elected as one of the legislators’, I won’t say more than that but I can say that the election was rigged without which she wouldn’t stand a chance of winning. She wanted to win by all means it was her life; not that she had the interest of the masses at heart but just because of her own selfish aims. I don’t discuss politics or anything related to it in forums, but how can I when some of the bad eggs are people close to me. What difference will my opinion make since it won’t change them? So I see it as total waste of my time and energy. In my high and honest opinion; she doesn’t have anything worthwhile to contribute in the political arena.

Family life
As a wife and a mother she has failed woefully in that department, in her bid to acquire wealth she has neglected this important aspect of her being. She provided her kids with almost everything expect that one important thing every growing kid needs; a loving and warm environment. There are a lot of fighting and quarrelling in front of the children. Her family made marriage unattractive in my growing up years. Most of all I think she married the wrong man, they are happy only when they are apart. The husband chases after anything in skirt. It is a marriage made in hell.

“Success is not a key to happiness; happiness is a key to success”

What do we have in common?
We are women, we are married, we have children and we know each other.
Internet I live online, I doubt if she knows where that is. One of the reasons that I can write anything here; I can bet my last dime that there is no chance in this world she will be reading this post anytime in this century. I didn’t want to write a long post like this I promise to keep it short next time with the family and friends series. Please what do you think I was too harsh?

“Success is not a key to happiness; happiness is a key to success”. Very true.

i must confess that is graphic!
some of us know the number of female
      legislators in the houses…

i’d say you could have employed
some more general approach to describing
this interesting friend or family of yours,
      sister tyna.

i should also add: unlike you, this piece
is very skewed to the negative side…it’s a
well-balanced stuff; in my little opinion.

      what else can i say?

I tried to generalize the description,
i challenge you to send me a mail and tell
me who you think am talking about. And
there is a huge reward for you if you get it
        right.Goodluck.

I was just stating a fact, like the government is bad but we should start changing the situation with those that we know.
People that really know me knows that am never afraid to say the truth no matter how bitter it might sound. You know what she respects me for having an unbiased mind about issues.

              i meant to write: “it’s not a well-balanced stuff…”

oh sister tyna: i understand where you’re coming
from. folks who are blunt and straightforward are
to me, very courageous and truthful…

my point is this: the purpose of this project
is not to wash the dirty linen of anyone in the
public…it’s about you telling us what makes your
              friends and family tick.

and beibee’s not saying, don’t criticize:
but i must reiterate that that piece above
is overly skewed to the negative side.

you can bullet point her strengths and weaknesses
while not dwelling, as it is, on the bad sides…

              1. a chieftaincy title holder
              2. a medical doctor, a lawyer, a contractor, a businesswoman,etc
can you beat that? very multi-tasking! well, i think here that multi-
tasking is no multi-tasking till it’s effective. she might not have
been very successful in businesses but she’s ready to deep her hands
              in many things.
              3. married, mother of six
              4. a legislator [politician]: i still accuse her of going
into politics for personal reasons and not public purpose!
              5. brilliant and intelligent; got married at age 18
              6. her family life doesn’t seem much attractive…well, can
              things ever get better?
              7. could she be an online devotee like me? far from it…
i doubt if she had ever visited the global village or super
              highway before…
              8. well, in spite of her blemishes and all, she’s still one
person that has the privilege to fall into my friends-family circle.

what do you think of the above?

i respect you too for your unbiased about issues…
i just strongly feel, this much shouldn’t have into
              the public realm.

ha, sister! it’s not about challenge…
remember the public scandal of house renovating?
everything was in the public glare…reward if
i get it right? a huge one?

…and you too, to change things, criticisms must
              be right: right in the sense that, it must be constructive;
not seen as public ridicule; but seen as a gesture to help.
diplomacy, they say, is an act of jumping into the pool without
              raising a splash!

              all right sister…let’s have the next person;
              i am loving this!

Is it not why we should be careful of our actions? If i can see it what are the chances that others can’t? I don’t even live in the same country with her for years now, then imagine people close to her not knowing all these already,if you have anything to hide politics is the wrong place to be.
