A World Of Difference

We arrived safely in London after a 12 hours flight that seems like forever. It wasn’t as horrible as I was anticipating you know, the kids being confined in an airplane for that long they had a blast especially since they were able to still watch one of the Korean favourite cartoons “Pororo” funny name for a penguin. When we got to Heathrow Airport London at about 5.30pm on the 14th of july (that means we spent two days and two nights of 14Th July because that was the exact date that we left South Korea) between the time we disembark from the aircraft to clearing from immigration and getting our luggage took more than an hour of our time. The story about getting to our hotel is a very long and boring one so you are spared of that;anyway we got to the Hilton’s hotel almost at dinner time.We all got refreshed and went for a buffet dinner downstairs.I couldn’t use the internet because it was 15 pounds per internet connection very strange .Our plans had changed in that we have decided to leave the next morning for New York as opposed to spending a few more days in London. There wasn’t much to see or do in London that we haven’t done before and economically it was not a very wise decision. If I convert my euros to pounds am loosing money but if I convert the same amount to dollars I will be richer.Did I mention that if I wasn’t an artist I would have been working in New York Wall Street. We woke up by 4am London time to get ready for the airport again; we left the hotel 6am on July the 15Th reschedule our flight and checked in. It wasn’t as easy as I am making it sound it was actually a mini nightmare or should call it a morning mare? honestly I hate everything about Heathrow Airport. We flew Delta Air if compare to Korean Air which we flew from Seoul to London OK! I reserve my comments. This was an 8 hours flight, the kids didn’t find it very funny,Shawn cried half the time to me it lasted longer than the 12hours flight. We arrived safely in JFK airport New York at about 11.35am July the 15Th.In two days we flew for 20 hours, saw 14Th and 15Th ofJuly twice. We are trying to adjust to the time difference,am here in our hotel room in Manhattan very excited because I have an appointment at Apple shop by 3.30pm today for my new laptop and a 3G iphone, more gist to come. The results are in:Flight from Seoul to London Kachi won the first price for most well behaved. Flight from London to New York Joel won hands down for the most well behaved while Shawn came last.Chinedu on the other as teenager didn’t get any price because of the way he attacked every food and drink on sight as if he was having his last supper, that surely annoyed me as a mother.I have to go now,I will be back to fill you in more about what has happened so far.

Last Week In South Korea

Our last week in South Korea was very eventful,I will try to summarise the whole week in this post.We will be in a 12 hours flight to London by the time some of you get to read this.We are going to have a very safe and cool flight,I love it when I fly business class just for the leg space for a long trip.To all my friends and all the wonderful people that I have met online and offline this video is for all for you.

SAUNA : I went to the Korean traditional bath house for the last time last week Saturday;the bath house is a building with different section of bathing water of varying temperature.Everybody gets naked and move about in your birthday suit, you have to be comfortable in your own skin to be able to do this.Lest I forget the men section is different from the women’s section. If you pay extra money you will get a special scrubbing from one of the workers there, you whole body is scrubbed and massaged it is feels awkward initially but later became very relaxing.I felt very clean and relaxed afterwards and I slept like a baby that night.

DENTIST:We visited the dentist for our annual dental checkup,my husband and I got a our teeth scaled and cleansed our mouth felt a lot lighter and cleaner afterwards. Some days after my husband took Chinedu there to get his own teeth scaled and cleansed too.

GOLF:Our Golf practice suffered a lot during these days because we didn’t have time to go playing Golf.We went to the Golf club to say our goodbyes and they were all sad to see us go,we felt very sad too.I took back my Golf shoes to the shop were it was bought for an exchange for a more comfortable fit;guess what! that was the largest female size in Korea so I ended up collecting a size in the male’s Golf shoes.Well its better than feeling uncomfortable in a female shoes, just hoping that it is not too obvious that it is a man’s shoes.

BANK:I went to the bank to close my dollar account, change all my accumulated Korean coins to notes. Then withdraw all the the money in my Korean local account, which was not much anyway.

ACUPUNTURE: My husband and I went to the Korean oriental clinic to have an acupuncture to release all the stress and bad energy we got during the packing up period. Both of us slept off before the whole procedure which normally lasts for 1 hour was over.

SCHOOL & TAEKWONDO: My kids have been home for school which was a whole lot of headache trying to keep with them.I am very grateful for teachers for being able to handle other people kids day in day out.Chinedu joined Kachi in his Taekwondo academy; he has been home for about 6 weeks now so I enrolled him for that period he had a great time there. They will both miss their practice but life goes on for the better.

FLIGHTS & HOTELS:Trying to book flight and getting a good hotel accommodation posed the greatest challenge. It is not always easy for a large family like mine to go on holidays, getting a place that can accommodate us all wasn’t an easy task. My kids are still too young to stay in a different hotel room from us so our search for an apartment  hotel with kitchenette. It was difficult because we wanted a hotel in Manhattan close to Broadway and all the actions that the big Apple got to offer. The second problem was it is in the middle of summer, the rooms are either booked some of the days or not available out all.Anyway all that are sorted out now,we were able to get a hotel close to Heathrow Airport London because we have a few days stop over in London.

PACKING:The moving company took our luggage on wednesday, our packing did not end until the day we left.I was still packing stuffs the morning we left which was as early as 5.00am.The taxi picked us up by 6.30am for our flight to Seoul the capital of South Korea. My kids loved the trip and we spent the weekend in Seoul.I am packing up again to leave for London by 8.00am in the morning, with kids you can’t afford not to.

SOUTH KOREA:Will I miss South Korea? Well! that’s a big question for a new post another time.

Home Based Business Scams - AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I hope this article helps those seeking a LEGITMATE HOME BASED BUSINESS.This is a true life experience of Joseph DeFrank

I can tell you from a personal experience that there are many Home Based Business Scams on the Internet. My wife and I almost lost $8,000.00 trying to start one of these so called home base businesses. We were looking for a LEGITMATE home based business to make some extra income to add to our full time salaries. We looked at several home based business opportunities on the internet. One such business caught my wife’s eye, so we filled out the infomation that they requested and clicked the submit button.

In less than 10 seconds our phone rang and the gentleman on the other end introduced himself and explained to us that he represented the home based business company that we were interested in. He was a very pleasant and friendly person. He told us a little about the business but would not reveal the name of the company. Next, he directed us to a 9 minute audio which explained in more detail about the home based business and how you could make all this money doing affiliate marketing in a short period of time and just working only a few hours a week. They even had an elderly woman on the audio who was making sale after sale even before her website was set up. This audio was very convincing.

About an hour later, the same gentlemen called us back. He asked us what we thought of the audio presentation, and reiterated the parts about making a great deal of money in a short period ot time without hardly doing any work. He then asked us if we were interested. Naturally, we thought this was a great opportunity, so my wife and I signed up for the businsess.

The following day, another gentleman from the company we just signed up with called. He also was very friendly. He explained more about the company and again told us how with very little time and effort we could be making BIG money. We were told that we would have a website all set up for us, the only thing we would pay for would be advertising. He then told us about the advertising packages. The more money that we would spend, the more Guaranteed Hits to our website which would mean more profits for us. There was also a site were we could track our hits and sales each day. Basically we could just sit back and watch the money roll in. My wife and I were new at this and it sounded so great we went with the higher package which cost $5,000.00, (STUPID MOVE), and it was so very easy to put it on your Credit Card. He also stated that he would be our advisor, if we had any problems and to contact him if we were not making any money after several weeks. (more…)

Are all data entry opportunities scam?

Even though it is true that there are a lot of online scams involving data entry opportunities, there are however several legit business that teach you how to be successful in a data entry job, how to actually do the job and give you the details about what you need in order to start the job. The worst part of advertising data entry work from home jobs in scams is that people do not trust even the genuine businesses anymore. However you should not get discouraged by the rip-off companies and their scams. It is true that it takes a few buyers to discover that they are scammers, but most of the time these companies’ names appear on forums and other web sites. MLM or Network Marketing - What is it Really?

MLM is considered basically a channel of distribution for goods and services that also can have a “Franchise” opportunity attached. You can join a network marketing company and build a representative group or team that you can obtain royalties from, and build an override structure from what they do.

And most people look at MLM as exactly that: a system for creating wealth through your efforts and the efforts of others!

Nothing wrong with that point of view: however, there is a huge gap in that reality. Before you can build a group that does not go away, you MUST understand what MLM really is from a big picture viewpoint … and all the rest will fall into place.

Network Marketing actually is this: Personal Development, wonderfully moulded into a business, that can be duplicated: over and over again!

Do you get that?

Please do yourself a favour and read it again.

What that means is MLM requires and pretty much demands Personal Growth and Personal Development from you in order for you to succeed.

There is no other way to succeed: here is the recipe …. Grow yourself: Grow your business!

Many people bring damaged attitudes, skills and habits to MLM, and with that, they try to build a business with skills that guarantee failure.

No, they don’t plan to fail, they just have not developed the necessary skills to the level that is required to succeed in an MLM environment…simple and plain. Those skills cannot produce success because they are not prepared and ready for success.

As it happens, most are never told that their skills are lacking and need refining and building, and that network marketing is not necessarily a walk in the park, and requires a sound skillset, and determination to use same persistently.

From where I’m standing, good leadership is the key to the MLM business.

You must learn to lead yourself and others on a path to flowing and sustainable growth, which will increase your odds of succeeding in MLM massively! (more…)
