Formal Dinner Party 2.

dinnerparty

The Total AKPO FPSO project farewell dinnerwas almost ruined by rain. The dinner was arranged to be a garden party but it rained all day.The canopy has been set,the balloon decorations were in place but before the party could start wind blew away most it.The dinner was then moved to the foreigners’ compound restaurant;for lack of space for proper formal sitting arrangements it was turned into a buffet dinner.I was really happy about the turn of event. The TOTAL AKPO FPSO dinner party we had before was for the naming of the ship but this one is for the sailing of the same ship.I guess they will always come up with a reason to host a party; why not? so long as some individuals are making money from organising them.

After standing for a long time,my feet were tired.I went to beg my husband for us to leave but he was to engaged in conversation with his friends and their bottles of wine.If you can’t beat them you join them,i got myself glass of Bailey’s Irish cream with some ice blocks.Generally it was a good farewell dinner for the TOTAL AKPO FPSO project which hopeful will sail this Friday.I need to go to bed I am so tired, especially my feet need some rest.

Formal Dinner Party.

gold-set

Yesterday I realised that one of my jewellery set was missing, I searched the whole house for it and I was almost freaking out. Was I going to allow this lost ruin my whole week? Was I going to rule over my emotions and not allow myself to be upset and agitated? I made the decision to be happy because no matter how much I rant or complain, it’s not going to bring it back. I wore that set last September and haven’t set my eyes on it since then.
Today i turned the house upside down, yeah! I found it in one of my drawers.I was very happy because I needed to exchange my old ones for new designs.

We are going for Total AKPO FPSO Project farewell dinner party today, I have been searching for clothes to wear for 2 days now. If it were in Paris I would have gone to buy myself a dinner dress. It is impossible to get my size here or maybe I don’t know where to check.I am searching for dress in fabric that stretch and drape; diagonal darts for ease over my bust that will skim over my midsection. I have a full short neck so am looking for a U or V necklines to accentuate the length of my neckline and expose a bit of cleavage. I planned to wear it with high heeled shoes. How I dress is very important to me because how you dress is how you will be addressed. It is not the price on clothing that matters but how well it fits your body type.I will post the photos from the dinner.Well going back to my search.

This video will show you why I hate formal dinner parties.

Can’t we just eat our food in peace the way we want and get over with it?

How To Avoid Easy Money Making Scams.

ship

It is unfortunate that there are a lot of dishonest people and scam programs on the Internet that make it difficult for the marketers who are trying to show people the real ways of making money from home.

What I ‘m going to do in this article is to show you the types of easy money making scams and offer the tips how you can avoid them.

Here are the main characteristics of scams:

1- Guaranteed income Avoid the program which guarantees you will make money. Nobody can guarantee this. Even the program is great, it will depend on your work how much money (or money at all) you will make joining that program.

You should also avoid the programs which promise you fortune in a short time.

2- No one answers your questions Don’t join any program which doesn’t answer any of your questions before joining. If they don’t answer you before joining, probably they are not going to answer after you are in the program.

3- There are no earnings disclaimer, terms of service or privacy policy. You know, nearly all money making programs have these terms below the website. But most of money making scams don’t put them on their website. Don’t join the programs not having these legal requirements.

4- Work at home jobs. Most of the work at home programs requires an initial fee to join them. When you join them you will have to apply the companies personally without any guarantee that you will find the work you want or not.

5- Get paid to surf and Internet surveys programs. These companies try to convince you that you will make money just for being on the Internet, surfing the web, filling out surveys, answering emails. It is lie. They don’t tell you the hard part of the work (for example, an advertising part) before joining the program.

It becomes so frustrating to get enough credits for getting paid that most people quit in their fist week. That is why most of these programs require a fee before joining. Even it is free to join you will have to pay money to the companies inside your membership.

6- Products that “sell themselves”. The key to selling a product is successful marketing. If you don’t do any marketing for the product, there won’t be any sales. So avoid these types of programs.

7- Data entry, envelope stuffing, coupon clipping. These programs most times don’t work and include much more than data entry, envelope stuffing or coupon clipping.

Remember, it is not always easy to avoid the scams, but from time to time you will be able to spot them. I wish you success on your way of making money online.

My Banker Friend.

love of dog

The next person on my family and friend series is someone whom I have know for some years now. He has to leave the bank where he was formerly working to another; because he fell in love with a colleague in another branch of the same bank. Their bank policy does not couple to work in the same bank. So we should say he chose love over job; that was a brave action. I guess he did that because he has other job offers or he was sure of getting employed in another bank. People that don’t have other options don’t just leave their job.

Nickname:” Parrot” yes! You saw it well parrot the bird. I gave him this famous name because he is a talkative. He always has something to say which may or may not go down well with you depending on your state of mind. When he was still an applicant, I was proofreading his job CV and you won’t believe what I saw as one of his hobbies. Imagine a professional presenting his CV that includes “chatting” as one of his hobbies.

He studied accounting in the university. He is a nephew to one the current governors.
He is a very reliable friend; I tend to spend too much on lunch in restaurants feeding his large appetite. He was the most helpful person during my wedding preparations. I am hoping to be there for him during his own wedding, at least I can do the wedding planning and coverage for him.

I met in my best friend’s estate; he had an uncle that lives there. He was the person that thought me how to drive a car. The story about the driving lessons and why i couldn’t drive at that age are better left for another day. He has this running battle with one of my female friends, I don’t know till date what they are actually fighting for. I might never find out unless one of them decides to let us in the secret. He used to have girlfriends’ issues then especially when 2 of his babes will meet his place. It wasn’t really his house; he used to take them to another apartment or the boys quarters because his fear of his uncle’s wife was the beginning of his wisdom.

He likes action and science-fiction movies
I dislike those kinds of movies
He about to get married
I am already married with kids
He is addicted to his mobile phone and used to disturb the whole compound with his loud gist. He like sending text messages, when he didn’t an opportunity to call.
Text message? That’s worst than typing on a computer keyboard which I dislike.
We all know that chatting is his favourite hobby
Chatting distracts me from work so I hardly engage in it.
He is a talkative and very lively.
I am on the quiet side well that depends on whom I am with.
He drinks vodka early in the morning as his own weight loss secret recipe.

Decision Making

thinking-hard

In one of my earlier posts “be happy” on the happiness project that was organized by Alex Shalman I stated that Happiness is a decision you make, not an emotion you feel. Today post is focused on the choices and decisions we make in our lives. I will encourage you to choose to be happy on a daily basis.
A good decision comes from experience, and experience comes from bad decisions. Every situation that presents itself gives us an opportunity to make a choice. It is obvious, that we can choose the good or bad. Nobody said that choosing to do the right thing all the time would always lead you to happiness. There are too many possible outcomes, which you really cannot control. The only thing you have power over is the decisions that you will make, how you would act and react to different situations. What we often forget is that we make the right or wrong decision without conscious thought.
.
If you know that you were making a wrong decision, I don’t think that you would you go along with it. Why would you choose a certain path when you know it would mislead you? Why make a certain decision if you knew from the very beginning that it is not the right one. It is only after you have made a decision and reflected on it that you realize it was wrong. If the consequences or outcomes are good for you, then you have decided correctly. Otherwise, your decision would be wrong.

Since life offers no guarantee and you would never know that your decision would be wrong until you have made it, then you might as well take the risk and decide. Although it is true that one wrong turn could get you lost, it could also be that such a turn could be an opportunity for an adventure, moreover open more roads. It is all a matter of perspective. You have the choice between being a lost traveler or an accidental tourist of life. But take caution that you do not make decisions haphazardly. Taking risks is not about being careless and stupid. Here are some pointers that could help you choose the best option in the face of life’s crossroads:
Get as many information as you can about your situation. Most times, the reason for indecision is the lack of information about a situation.

Check if there are options. Sometimes the options are few, but sometimes they are numerous. But what do you do when you think that the situation offers no options? This is the time that you create your own. Make your creative mind work. From the most simplistic to the most complicated, entertain all ideas. Sometimes the most outrageous idea could prove to be the right one in the end. You can ask a friend to help you identify options and even make more options if you encounter some difficulty, but make sure that you make the decision yourself in the end.

Analyze each option by looking at the advantages and disadvantages it offers you. In this way, you get more insights about the consequences of such an option. Now that you have assessed your options, it is now time to trust yourself. Remember that there are no guarantees and wrong decisions are always at hindsight. So choose… decide… believe that you are choosing the best option at this point in time.

Now that you have made a decision, be ready to face its consequences; good or bad. It may take you to a place of promise or to a land of problems. But the important thing is that you have chosen to live your life instead of remaining a bystander or a passive audience to your own life. Whether it is the right decision or not, only time can tell. But do not regret it whatever the outcome. Instead, learn from it and remember that you always have the chance to make better decisions in the future.
